I just want to write a short note to Thank Boxer Luv for all they do. My first rescue was in 2003 and I had my Baxter for 6 years, he was a big boy and very frightened when he came to me. Sadly, I had to put him down because of cancer in 2010. Shortly after that Amy at BLR found my Little Miss Parker (previous name of Delcy), my first female. She is a doll and the best little girl ever....then just recently Amy and Melanie convinced me it was time to adopt Phoenix Magoo, one tall and skinny boy and he is a handful. Both Amy and Melanie are the best and still to this day very patient with me with this little guy. My two boxers are gorgeous and happy and I Thank Amy, Melanie and BLR for all their hard work. Sincerely, PatyAn Russell

I adopted Sally (now Milkey Wey) after being a foster failure this year. We decided on Valentines Day and she has been a love ever since. She is a deaf girl but is a smart clever & lovable dog. We are so lucky to have her. She has no disability in my eyes. If you ever have a doubt about adopting a deaf dog...dont. Its not made the least bit difference. She is amazing and reads my every emotion. Boxers tend to have selective hearing & a special mischievous personality. Our house is newly blessed with a loving soul.

My husband and I just rescued another little "angel" from Boxer luv. Her name was Sky but she seemed to start answering to "Sammie" so - Sammie is her name! She's the light of our life now along with Felice whom we rescued about 5 years ago also! They are great together and we love them soooo much.

In April after losing 4 family members and my beloved 16 year old black lab/doberman mix I was in Petsmart when I saw the cutest white pudgey thing sleeping under a chair, he had slept through the adoption process. I knew that fate was calling since that was how I had found my black lab/doberman 16 years earlier. I picked up the white ball and was faced with the most adorable pink nose with black spots. That day Dobie (that told me even more that fate was at work) became part of our family. He is a white boxer/lab mix. I have never had a boxer and I will never not have a boxer he is so loving, funny when he talks back and greets us with his grunts howls and talking, he uses his paws like hands, and gives the best hugs.

We adopted Kobe (Doggie Bowser) into our family back in 2004. We were lucky enough to share all of these wonderful years with him thanks to Boxer Luv Rescue. He passed away this week and we miss him so much. Just wanted to thank you for the love you brought to us.
